David C. Schwartzman is an associate at the Los Angeles office of Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP and is a member of the firm’s Joint Venture Group.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schwartzman was an associate with Dechert LLP, where he was part of the Finance and Real Estate and Private Funds practice groups. Mr. Schwartzman’s experience includes representing sponsors and institutional investors in the formation and investment in real estate private equity funds, separate accounts and joint ventures. Additionally, his experience encompasses real estate finance transactions, including the origination, syndication and restructure of commercial mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments.

Mr. Schwartzman received his J.D. in 2005 from Temple University, Beasley School of Law and received his B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, in 1999 from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Schwartzman is admitted to the State Bar of California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
