In a September 6, 2011 article by the Daily Journal, Edward Dygert discussed the potential state legislation that would fast track environmental legal challenges to a proposed downtown Los Angeles NFL stadium.

Dygert, who represents developers in all stages of planning and environmental review, said the AEG legislation could ultimately be a tough sell because CEQA is politically sensitive and is perceived as the ‘”cornerstone” of the state’s environmental law.

Dygert also told the Daily Journal that it is very difficult to get the legislature to make even modest changes in the CEQA process.
