Cox, Castle & Nicholson Attorney Receives Outstanding Young Lawyer Award

Caroline Dreyfus, a partner in the Los Angeles office of leading California real estate law firm, Cox Castle & Nicholson, LLP, has been recognized as an Outstanding Young Lawyer (OYL) by the Real Property Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Ms. Dreyfus is one of three recipients of this prestigious award. The OYL award is given to young lawyers, with ten or fewer years of experience, who have received recognition within the legal profession through involvement with high profile, complex transactions; public speaking or general publication of written work; unique legal approaches; and community involvement. Ms. Dreyfus will receive this award at the Section’s Annual Installation and Awards Dinner on June 10, 2008. 

The Real Property Law Section, organized in 1979, coordinates educational programs and literature for California’s real estate attorneys. 

Ms. Dreyfus’ practice focuses on all facets of real estate finance. She represents both borrowers and lenders in all types of real estate finance transactions involving office buildings, multi-family properties, retail shopping centers, mixed use projects, condominium projects and hotels and raw land. Ms. Dreyfus was named one of the most influential women in commercial real estate by Real Estate Southern California Magazine in 2007. 

Ms. Dreyfus received her J.D. from the Ohio State University College of Law in 1998, and her BS from the University of Arizona (cum laude) in 1995.
