Dan's practice focuses on all aspects of real estate development, entitlements, and transactions. Dan represents property owners and developers in obtaining land use entitlements and environmental review clearance for residential, commercial, office, life science, and mixed-use development projects. Dan also counsels clients on strategies for securing project approvals and compliance with laws and regulations applicable to the development process in California, including the Planning and Zoning Law, the Subdivision Map Act, and the California Environmental Quality Act.
Dan also represents owners and developers in the buying, selling, and leasing of real estate assets across a range of industries including residential, commercial, retail, health care, hospitality, and technology. As part of his practice, Dan regularly advises clients on site acquisition and site assemblage, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and ground leases, as well as leasing spaces in completed projects to tenants.
