Adam Marx currently serves as an associate for the firm’s Joint Venture team. The Joint Venture team focuses on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and financing matters. The Joint Venture team represents developers and equity providers in transactions involving a wide range of land and real estate assets throughout California and the U.S.
Before joining the firm, Adam worked in the legal department of a REIT and a privately held investment company, working on SEC reporting and fund formation for portfolios of various asset types, including commercial office properties. He also worked at one of the largest global commercial real estate companies, both as a legal intern and on a commercial retail leasing team.
Adam received his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law. While at law school, Adam served as a Board Member for the Real Estate Law Association, and volunteered at the El Centro Landlord-Tenant Clinic. Adam received his B.A. in Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Davis in 2015.
