Scott is a real estate transactional attorney whose practice focuses on the areas of retail development and commercial leasing transactions. Scott has experience negotiating and drafting commercial leases, representing buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of real property assets, negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, coordinating closings with title and escrow companies, and representing banks and borrowers in connection with the extension of loans secured by real estate.
While receiving his J.D. with a Business Law Specialization at University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, Scott was a participant in the 2009 Moot Court Competition, a member of the Business Law Association, and placed 2nd overall in the National Transactional Lawyering Meet at Drexel University. Scott currently serves as a Coach for the UCLA School of Law Transactional Law Meet Team, helping law students in this competition refine their transactional, drafting and negotiating skills.
