Overview
Trevor Potter is a litigation attorney with a focus on construction, real estate, and real property disputes.
Trevor specializes in representing owners, developers, and general contractors in disputes involving every aspect of the construction process, including project delay, cost overruns, breaches of contract, mechanic’s liens, stop notices, defective work, and design deficiencies. Trevor’s construction litigation experience includes a wide range of projects including luxury hotels, mixed used developments, industrial buildings, condominium and apartment projects, roadway infrastructure, office projects, and custom single-family homes.
Trevor regularly works with architects, engineers, experienced contractors, and other construction professionals to analyze and unwind complicated projects and technical details to advance straightforward and persuasive arguments to achieve success in federal and state courts, arbitration, and mediation. Trevor is also experienced in a wide range of real estate and business disputes including real property litigation involving easements and title issues, landlord/tenant disputes, CERCLA liability, code compliance, partnership and valuation disputes, breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims, trademarks, and trade secrets.
