Partners Jason Adams and Ira Waldman will be speaking at the upcoming 2026 Real Estate Law & Business Forum at The Jonathan Club. 

Jason will be moderating on the Real Estate Insurance in 2026: Market Reality, Pricing Pressure and What it Means for Owners and Developers in California panel. The panel will focus on construction startups to stabilized assets, insurance is playing an increasingly pivotal role in whether and how real estate projects and transactions move forward across California. This panel offers an honest, practitioner-driven look at the current state of the real estate insurance marketplace, with a particular focus on residential and commercial development and operations.  

Ira will be moderating on the Success in a Transactional Legal Practice: Why Civility Matters panel. All lawyers strive for success. But success without respect and a positive reputation is less than half a loaf. Additionally, California law and the Rules of Professional Responsibility require certain obligations that are the bulwark of civility in practice. This panel will explore civility obligations and some of the mechanisms and strategies that a transactional lawyer can employ to engender reputational respect with members of his or her firm, clients and adverse parties and lawyers that will lead to success.
