Congratulations to Partners Alicia Vaz and Andrea Saunders Rifenbark on their recognition as 2025 Leaders of Influence: Thriving In Their 40s by the Los Angeles Business Journal! The annual list recognizes business professionals who set growth in motion for businesses and organizations in any industry. Alicia and Andrea were selected among roughly 100 of their peers and industry leaders. 

Alicia is a Partner, Co-Chair of the Litigation Department, and Chief DEI Officer at Cox Castle, who brings a unique combination of litigation experience, strategic insight and executive leadership to her work. Specializing in real estate and high-stakes business litigation and dispute resolution, she has been hailed by clients for her approach to resolving disputes with solutions that align with her client’s goals and business needs either to avoid a lawsuit where feasible or to achieve a favorable result through litigation in a cost-effective manner.

Andrea is a Partner at Cox Castle, who focuses on real estate investment, development, and finance. She has spent her entire career representing public pension funds and other institutional investors in all areas of real estate investments, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financing, property management, development, and investment advisory agreements. Andrea’s practice has a specific focus on a wide range of complex joint venture transactions including those relating to the acquisition, ownership, and development of all types of real estate assets such as office buildings, industrial parks, student housing, medical facilities, raw land, retail centers, multifamily, single-family housing, and mixed-use projects.
