Laura Cable is a tax attorney whose practice focuses on income tax planning for real estate transactions.
Laura’s practice includes Federal and California income tax planning for real estate investments by partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, individuals and tax-exempt entities. She advises her clients on tax implications of proposed acquisitions, dispositions and exchanges of real property, and has extensive experience drafting and negotiating tax provisions in purchase and sale agreements, joint venture and partnership agreements. Laura also regularly advises her clients regarding the imposition of California real property tax laws, including planning to avoid property tax reassessment and documentary transfer taxes.
