Laura Cable Named 2025 Women of Achievement Award Finalist

The 25th annual awards event recognizes professionals across the city in a variety of categories, including Legacy, Community, and Emerging Leader, amongst others. Laura is nominated in the Leadership category, which recognizes women who are leading with vision, integrity, and inspiration that drives real results.
Laura is a leading tax attorney whose practice focuses on income tax planning for real estate transactions. Her practice includes Federal and California income tax planning for real estate investments by partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, individuals, and tax-exempt entities. She advises her clients on tax implications of proposed acquisitions, dispositions, and exchanges of real property, and has extensive experience drafting and negotiating tax provisions in purchase and sale agreements, joint venture, and partnership agreements. Laura also regularly advises her clients regarding the imposition of California real property tax laws, including planning to avoid property tax reassessment and documentary transfer taxes.
