Overview

Maxwell Liaw is a transactional attorney specializing in commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States.

He represents developers and investors in structuring and navigating purchase and sale transactions, leases for office, retail, and industrial properties, and title, survey, and other due diligence review.  Additionally, he represents both borrowers and lenders in construction and term loan originations, as well as loan modifications. His experience spans a variety of asset classes, including office, industrial, retail, multifamily, and hotel properties.

Maxwell also maintains an active pro bono practice, advising nonprofit community groups and Asian American organizations in San Francisco's Chinatown and neighboring communities on matters related to purchase and sale, leasing, and financing transactions.
