Representing a developer in the entitlement of multiple data centers, including associated substations and backup power generation, in San Jose and other Bay Area jurisdictions.

Representing a developer on the entitlement of two data centers in Los Angeles County.

Represented a technology company in the purchase of a data center in California.

Represented a lender in connection with due diligence and financing of a data center.

Represented a data center operator in the purchase of a data center in Texas.

Represented a data center operator in the sale of three operating data centers to a publicly traded REIT. 

Represented a data center operator in the $71.6 million acquisition of data center properties in Santa Clara County from a technology company. 

Represented an institutional investor investing $300 million in a platform joint venture with a private investment firm to acquire, develop, and operate real estate projects used primarily for data center operations, in U.S. markets.  Projects can be acquired as stabilized or for value creation, speculative development, or build-to-suit.  At least 75% of capital is committed to primary markets, with up to 25% in other markets.

Represented an institutional investor in a joint venture with a private investment firm to acquire, develop, renovate, refurbish, and operate technology-related value-add real estate projects, primarily projects that have been enhanced with core building system upgrades as required for data storage, computer processing, and/or network connection, in the metro areas of major U.S. cities.
