Emma Alvarado is a transactional attorney specializing in commercial real estate at both local and national levels.

Her practice includes representing investors, developers, landlords, tenants, and property owners across various property types, including both commercial and residential real estate. She handles a wide range of real estate matters, such as acquisitions, dispositions, real estate-secured financing, commercial leasing, and development.

Before joining Cox Castle, Emma represented companies in a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, entity formation, and other general corporate matters. She particularly focused on the healthcare industry, assisting clients with the acquisition, sale, formation, and investment in medical device companies, surgery centers, diagnostic imaging providers, and other healthcare-related entities.

Emma earned her law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. During law school, she served as the Executive Notes Editor for the Southern California Law Review, participated in the Small Business Clinic, and earned Gould’s Business Law Certificate. Additionally, she won awards in the Best Overall and Best Draft Agreement categories in the UCLA Transactional Law Competition, competing against over 30 teams from top-rated law schools nationwide.
